How to Use Your Haakaa Breast Pump
Sterilise your pump by boiling in water for 2-3 minutes.
Centre the pump flange over your nipple.
Squeeze the body of the pump and place pump onto your breast.
Gently release your grip until you can feel suction and let the pump do its thing!
For stronger suction, fold back the flange to expose the neck of the pump. Centre the neck over your nipple and squeeze the pump's body to expel air. Press pump to your breast, fold the flange back to its original position and release to generate suction.
Tips: Encourage let-down by placing a warm flannel on top of your breast and massage gently. While your child is feeding, attach your Haakaa pump to the other breast to catch precious milk that would otherwise be lost in a nursing pad.
Clean after each use. We strongly recommend cleaning and sterilising your Haakaa Breast Pump with any steam sterilising system or by boiling in water for 2-3 minutes. Do not use any bleach-based agents or sterilising tablets to clean this product. Instead, we recommend using the Haakaa Dish Soap. Do not use UV sterilisers to clean this product as it may impact the lifespan of your pump.
Check product condition regularly. Replace if this product shows any signs of damage. Do not store near any sharp objects. Only soft bristle brushes or soft sponges should be used to clean this product as hard scourers may scratch the surface. Exposure to detergent may make the silicone in this product appear cloudy. This product is not a toy. Adult use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets at all times. Do not use this product for anything other than its intended use. Store product in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
Please note: This combo contains a Gen. 1 100ml non-suction base pump. Results can vary - each woman and her milk supply is unique. Always follow your country's guidelines surrounding the safe storage of breastmilk.
Every midwife suggested I have this and now I know why. Amazing product and helped me with my breast feeding and establishing my supply in those early days. Great for let down once you’ve got that supply.

Love the simplicity of this, so easy to use and clean - what's not to love? Used an electric and manual hand pump with first Bub, they haven't even come out of storage this time as this is all I've needed. Big thanks from a sleep deprived mama
Love my pump! I never had time to properly sit down to use my electric pump, so I love that the haakaa is cordless so I can walk around and do other mama duties while I pump! And so easy to clean :)
